The Rodi backgammon set is conceived as a measured creation where material richness and play unfold through a precise sequence. The travertine box is defined by essential geometry and softened volumes, allowing the stone’s natural depth to emerge with quiet clarity. By removing the leather- covered lid, the inlaid backgammon field is revealed at the base of the interior, transforming the opening into a deliberate moment of discovery.
The closed piece retains a balanced, symmetrical presence through the dialogue between the leather- covered lid and fixed base. All game elements are carefully ordered within a leather-covered wooden tray: backgammon chips in walnut and maple, leather throwing cups, four opaque plexiglass dice, and a doubling cube. Each component rests in a dedicated slot, composing an interior landscape of precision, order, and tactile contrast.
Travertino finishes available: classic, walnut, titanium, yellow, red.
